Vintage Selection, the vintage clothing, accessories and designer objects fair will be held at the
Stazione Leopolda from 27th to 31st January 2010. The event is attended by a vast public of
collectors and enthusiasts, and has become a must for cool hunters and the style bureaus of top
international fashion companies who come to Florence to find inspiration for their creative research.

The mixture between its different public and its high level make Vintage Selection really special and
stimulates, together with the commercial potential, also the quality and stylistic research of the
collections as the continuous proposal’s innovation.

That’s exactly to answer to this always focusing and demanding request that Vintage Selection
presents, during its next edition, two important news: a clearer segmentation between its Luxury
Collections and Sportswear Collections and Happy Kilo, an event that Stazione Leopolda organizes in
cooperation with A.N.G.E.L.O. and schedules the selling of vintage article of clothing and accessories
by weight.

Vintage Selection will be presenting over 40 exhibitors to a public of sector operators and
enthusiasts which, at the last edition, reached 10,000. The names for this edition:

The REMAKE section
Remake is the special section devoted to the collections of firms making customized vintage: CAIRA UNIQUE, DEUDA, ESTEL FASHION, LAVGON, MAIKO UNIQUE! + LE 18:00, RICICLABO', will be presenting clothes subjected to innovative treatments or transformed through tailoring that are available for purchases by buyers and visitors.

FRAGILE MEMORY BOX Project:
Temporary exhibition realized by Arredamenti Caneschi for the Interior Exibition Design Course,hold by the Prof. Gianpiero Alfarano and the Architects Patrizia Tenti and Giuliana Frangipani, that belongs to the Masterly Design Degree of Florence University. From the recovery of panels in tamburato, the project aims to extend the utilization value and the perceptive performance of the semi-finished second-hand industrial goods.

Plus:
Music will accompany the visitors as they move through the various stands: a selection of vintage
tracks from RDF 102.7 - the event’s partner radio station - will provide a musical backdrop for the
duration of the fair.
The lounge area will also include Convivium, one of the coolest catering agency in Florence.
